Asian lady in blacklight

Was hesitant to try this one since when drawing white on black, you have to think mirrorwise and really adjust the contours to the full, specially when face drawing so that makes it a real though challenge. I hope this turned out well. White and red markers on a thin black cardboard, 2,5"x2,5".

I totally LOVE that world Jin!

i like it. How did your markers hold up on this one? Paint markers, or the felt tip variety? White on black seems like it would be tough on either. Nice job.

Dear Froggie, what I used were 'bullet tip' markers (paint markers), those give great control and colouring. See the product here:

Wroking with a marker feels a bit like working with a pencil. The big difference lies in the fact that pencils are dry, the markers are wet, so less room for errors there. The smaller the tip, the more control you have and if you work with a porfessional product, the finishing will always be GREAT. The markers do require that mostly, you have to colour it in twice for best results.

White on black is indeed tougher since you are drawing the insides instead of the contours. That's what I call mirrored working and it is not that easy! Yet you will get stunning results on some creations!

Voy: I have a variety of paint markers. (occasionally I use them to sign my paintings because they're easier to control.) My niece uses them to create beautiful signs on canvas. She has lovely handwriting. Thus far I have only used them for words. Perhaps i will try a picture with them. Thank you for the detailed reply.
